R Bistro - Hallandale Beach

The paella for two was amazing. We also enjoyed a pitcher of red sangria, which was excellent.

Unfortunately, no food ever came out of the kitchen. We were served dirty salads, two overcooked steaks, and an unidentifiable chicken dish. The manager attempted to create desserts, but we decided to skip them rather than endure any more of the experience. Overall, our holiday was ruined; it was a complete disaster that we will remember for all the wrong reasons. What a total disappointment!

This restaurant is a delightful casual spot along the Hallendale/Hollywood corridor near the beach. The food is excellent and beautifully presented. However, the restaurant seems to be understaffed, resulting in slow service that isn't always accurate, though the staff is friendly. The outdoor seating area is peaceful and comfortable, while the interior can be noisy and crowded.

The service was excellent and food very tasty. Plan to come back.

We sat outside for their happy hour special for drinks and appetizers from 5-7. Portions are large and good. Also ate their regular menu previously and everyone enjoyed their main course. Lamb chops were delicious and even had mint jelly, chicken and beef kebabs were excellent and lovely neighborhood restaurant. Music inside but we prefer to eat outside.
