Bidra med feedbackWe have been for lunch, to the beautiful coffee and very personal. I had the frying sandwich fabulous, absolutely delicious. they also do soy milk if they want it.
If they find free tables on the morning at the mönckebergstraße, this should raise something suspicious: now we know why, because their waiters are completely incapable. they do not have to smile to catch his attention – the waiter ignores it. they don't have to ask...if they could order – the waiter wouldn't listen and just go from them. probably they must be as arrogant and harmful as the personal notices. we left and found another caffe, whose personal was much more friendly. and in German: avoid the tables in the mönckebergstraße. worst service in hamburg, total overwhelmed waiter.
The hotel is located in the two-storey passage that is connected to the hyatt. friendly service. very good place to stop for a coffee, beer or ice.
Being able to eat something on the very busy Mönckebergstrasse is very convenient, and this restaurant does have an interesting menu, especially on weekdays for lunch. The only problem is that the seats are on the sidewalk and it's loud and one breathes in the...whole pollution of cars and buses...
Day 1 of our short trip to Hamburg and miserable weather rain and blustery winds. Took the bus from near our hotel shortly after checking in and headed to the City Centre. Hot chocolate and an open faced cheese and salami sandwich at Bar...Levante where the lunch menu only kicks in at 12 noon. A very average hot chocolate and an okay sandwich. Bar Levante has a good central location and the place was packed this morning. It is fully licensed with an extensive F&B menu. Perhaps we just choose the wrong options for our snack.....
