Lindos - Hamburg

I had an early flight and after deciding against the airport hotel restaurant I found this wonderful little family restaurant only a few mins walk away. The restaurant was busy, most tables taken by German locals and many on first names terms with the staff. I was welcomed as if a long lost friend. I was seated, given a menu and offered an ouzo. The decor is perhaps a little dared but charming nonetheless. It is clean and well maintained. The aroma from the kitchen was enticing, and instead of the small salad I'd planned to order I had moussaka. It arrived bubbling and was delicious. The menu is extensive and many tempting plates passed by. Next time in Hamburg I'll be back.

As you go in you get involve in a yet simple but welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and efficient without cloying. However the best highligh of our experience was the delicious taste of the food.

This is an inexpensive Greek style restaurant close to Hamburg airport. The food is nothing special but neither is the price level. You can have a decent Greek meal there at a decent price.

Service good and reasonable selection on menu. Was busy which was also a good sign and appeared to be full of regulars. Wine selection bit restrictive but other than that this is good if just looking for a simple tasty meal.
