LOBSTERHOUSE - Hamburg

We have been there for a lunch with the family. This is a nice place and we have been warmly welcomed. High standard and quick service. The menu offers a lot of choice: different fish plates or pans, prawns and lobsters. I ordered the "Edel Fisch Grill Teller" and I recommand it.

Very friendly service, multi languages. We had the baby lobster for lunch with pasta and it was absolutely freshly made. Price/quality of the lobster was perfect. The oysters were also very good and fresh. Nice location! We will come back xxx

Visiting Lobster House became a once in a lifetime activity and unfortunately the evaluation on the quality of the food has to be influenced by the overall impression - which was pretty bad. We waited 1,5 hour on the main course without any excuse or explanation. Instead the waiter behaved arrogant and ignorant. No attention to who ordered what or checking if everything on the table was ok - which it was not. The food was ok but not as expected considering the price. We - 5 persons - tried it and it failed.

I would like to send all my friends here, because the atmosphere and the style of the restaurant is lovely. Then, you are greeted by one of the nicest restaurant owners you'll ever meet, as you are led to a comfy chair (no matter where you sit). Then you may have the lobster bisque, the salads or any of the fish, the swords fish or steak, and you'll wish there was more stomach of spare. Dessert is great too! I go here all the time and I want it to thrive because I can't imagine Hamburg without it!

It is a nice place for Lobster lovers, we only disappointed about service, was slow and not very helpful. But lobster was really delicious and very well grilled.
