Positano Osteria - Hamburg

Very disappointing, We are visiting family in Hamburg and are here from Marbella Spain. My sister took us there thinking its a nice restaurant. Food was 45 min late, and was nothing special. The bathroom were discussting. The service was horrible. We constantly had to ask for cutlery , wine glasses., water glasses , plates. Very un organized. To top that all at the end, not sure if he was the owner or manager but he was extremely rude. I really wanted to pay for my family as a thank u. This rude ower started giving me attitude because I only had credit cards and not enough cash on me. It was extremely embarrassing how he humiliatd me. He was shouting loud here only people with money come to eat, I only accept cash or debit card because any other cc card is costing me money. You should ask before eating here My sister ended up paying for it. I have wined and dined all over the world have never been asked to pay cash, or had to ask if they accept credit cards, specially when you are calling yourself a high-end restaurant!! I am a business owner I never carry large amounts of cash and pay everything with credit cards. I usually don 't even write bad reviews either because I think we all can have a bad day. However what I can not stand is ignorance and humiliation of people. Spend your money in a place that gives you respect and good food! Cheapskate Restaurant owner, that all I have to say!!!

Place is small and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly and polite. Food was ok. Nothing special. They served the olive oil directly in it's cheap supermarket bottle.

What a fantastic and truly authentic restaurant! eating is incredible. the ambiente is cozy, warm and welcoming. as typical for most Italian restaurants, it is small, so they expect to meet their roommates. the menu is full of delicious and varied enough to satisfy even the most demanding palates. the waiters are very friendly and will be happy to help in any view. Public transportation is recommended as parking is a real premium. this is a place for a beautiful intimate, romantic dinner. it is convenient, but with a touch of class, so that men wear a sakko.

We visited this beautiful Italian restaurant for a late lunch on Sunday. it is located in a quiet suburb and is at a walk to reach the Alster comfortably to foot. the sitting outside were nice among some trees. the food was well prepared, the service was friendly and the portions were plentiful and very beautiful presented.

Great local italian in a beautiful residential area of hamburg. cozy environment and real Italian staff, which serves well prepared Italian classics.
