Taverna Kreta - Hamburg

Yesterday I was in the taverne kreta in the red hahn in hamburg for the first time. 6 months on the day before the restaurant I was never before the place. eating was fantastic. the kreta teller was a wucht. the portions large so that everyone is fed. to eat there is a fresh salad, and brot from the house, in which was a very tasty homemade crumb butter. in the main dish one has the choice between pommes, baked kartoffels, bratkartoffeln or Greek schatz. the rice and the baked carrots were great. the meat was super delicate and the whole eating hot, I have not yet had such a hot meal from the kitchen of a restaurant for a long time. So everything was up. before eating there was already a ouzo, which was on many Greek restaurants, but after eating there was another ouzo from the house, really surprised me. the prices were also very human. for the kreta teller I paid 12,50€. that is a very good price. I'll see more often here.

Food is really delicious, the host and his service are very courteous and attentive, you are welcome and feel comfortable there from the very beginning. You should book a table in the evening

Honest, cordial, family and not to forget delicious! After over 13 years we felt like a part of the family each time, our desires, (lightly) away from the menu were always fulfilled. So this time it was a short 'Urlaub' in Greece (not least because of the current temperatures) that we will always like to start again. Thank you for a nice evening!
