Bidra med feedbackOur group of ten had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, relishing every dish that was served by the welcoming staff. It has become our family's favorite Italian restaurant in the area.
I ordered the escarole and bean soup, which was a bit too salty, and the escarole was tough and needed more cooking. My friend ordered the summer salad, but they initially forgot to add the prosciutto. However, they brought it right away once we pointed it out. Overall, the service was good, and the atmosphere was lovely.
We had a wonderful dinner, and Tyrone was amazing! This was our second visit. Last Friday, my cousin recommended the place, and we were so pleased with the food and service that we told our waiter, Tyrone, we would return this week. I ordered the BLT Chicken both times, along with roasted mozzarella and crispy Brussels sprouts for appetizers. My husband enjoyed the Lynn's Chicken on both visits, and it was absolutely delicious! We also ordered H3 for a taxi, which was fantastic. We will definitely be back!
We had two pasta dishes, Carbonara and a pepperwurstrot sauce. The Carbonara did not resemble any Carbonara I had...not creamy only oily and tasteless. Red sauce was better, but under taste. Probably Carbonara would be sent back except that a friend brought us to his favorite restaurant.
Cafe Amici is everything I expect from an Italian restaurant. The staff is very friendly and professional. Inside and outside are kept clean. Atmosphere is very family friendly. To put a cherry in top, the food is phenomenal. I will definitely be returning for another meal sometime in the future. Located on Whitney Ave across the street from Wells Fargo or Walgreens. There is no direct highway to get there. If you're on Rt15 take exit 61. If you're on I91 take exit 5, or exit 10>40 connector>exit 1. Do yourself a favor and make the drive. It's well worth it.
