Lotus Thai & Vietnamese Cuisine

We visited Lotus for dinner on March 18 and ordered hot tea, spicy coconut curry stir fry with tofu, singapore noodles with mixed veges, and sides of steamed bok choy and coconut rice. Both main dishes had to be veganized which was no problem. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. The coconut curry stir fry IS spicy and flavourful and singapore noodles did not disappoint. Veges are all cooked perfectly and the tofu, which is often not treated well in restaurants, was good texture and tasty. Friendly, efficient service and great value. We especially like that it's family owned. We will definitely make this a regular stop and look forward to trying take out!

Went for lunch. Ordered the Lemongrass Chicken Stir Fry. Flavors well balanced, not too much heat. Service was exceptional. I.e. received extra napkins or water top off without having to ask.

Once a week, sometimes more. This is my indulgence. Really love the food! Always get the same thing (not one for change) and never disappointed. The lemongrass chicken and vegetable stirfry (spicy but delicious) with noodles, vegetable spring roll, coconut rice, and mango juice. Omg it's perfect everytime! They make everything fresh and can omit something if you don't like an ingredient. Local family restaurant that I feel more people should know about. Very friendly staff.

We have eaten in twice, and taken out three times and EVERY time, this restaurant did not disappoint. The service was exceptional - the very sweet server helped us decide what to order, and the food, her recommendations, were fabulous. SO happy to finally have a great Thai restaurant on Stoney Creek mountain.

Pad Thai was bland and sickly sweet. There was also an aftertaste to all of the dishes we ordered which actually nauseated one of us. Wait staff not friendly and didn't care that we didn't enjoy our meal. Probably the worst Thai I have had recently. Will not return.
