Camarosa - Hamilton

I visited today for a light lunch and was disappointed to see that the wonderful selection of treats in their cabinet is no longer available. Fortunately, there are small plates on the menu, which we decided to order so we could save room for dessert. The food was fantastic, as always!

The Margaret pizza and pasta were delicious, and the coffee was just to our liking. My daughter, who is quite selective about her food, really enjoyed the pizza. The scrambled eggs were tasty, though they didn’t exactly wow our taste buds. However, I do want to mention that the fried chicken on the kid's menu was too spicy for children. Despite that, I still give this place five stars because we absolutely loved everything we ordered.

We stopped in for a light snack since we were a bit hungry and decided to order the soup of the day, which turned out to be pumpkin soup, along with an iced coffee. The soup was absolutely delightful—creamy and full of rich flavor. The iced coffee was decent; it was a bit too strong for my taste, but just perfect for my partner. As with many mid-range dining establishments, I found myself wishing the portion sizes were larger given the price. However, if you're looking for a nice experience, this is a great spot to visit for special occasions.

Divine food, gracious service and a cosy quiet atmosphere. Camrose are a rare restaurant that has invested in sound proofing. This made the large room quiet and created a cosy intimate atmosphere in a light airy open plan room. We were a large group had a leisurely lunch with prompt service. We loved the variety of options for people with dietary restrictions. The coffee was perfect, tofu bowl and vension ribs were incredible, the crowd favourite was the chicken burger. I had a steak sandwich with next in your mouth steak and tasty cumin infused sourdough bread; it was brilliant. The desserts were also great. Highly recommend a visit this is a destination venue.
