Ottoman Turkish Cuisine

One of the top Turkish restaurants in London is Ottoman. I highly recommend it for their freshly made delicious Turkish dishes. The staff is hardworking, cheerful, and friendly, especially my favorite, Hadi.

I had called a week in advance to make a reservation for a table of 6 for a family birthday. When we arrived at the restaurant, it was very busy and it seemed that our table had not been reserved. After waiting for some time, I inquired about our reservation and was told abruptly that it was in the book but they were busy. The staff member then ignored me and continued to serve tables. After waiting for another ten minutes and being ignored, the staff member finally acknowledged me and pointed to a table saying that we were next to be seated. However, the table was only meant for 3 or 4 people and the guests already seated had just started their meal. When I mentioned that there were 6 of us and we couldn't fit at that table, the staff member simply said that they were busy. I politely pointed out that there was no point in making a reservation if they were going to give our table away. Ultimately, we decided to go somewhere else because we were very disappointed and frustrated. We will not be returning to this restaurant again.

I recently had an awful experience at a restaurant. Despite booking a week in advance, we arrived to disorganization and extremely rude staff. The food was mediocre at best, and after this experience, I have no intention of returning to this restaurant.

Ok, it doesn't look like anything special from the outside but the food is excellent. We ordered soup and mixed grill type food and were very happy with the taste and quantity of food given. Service was very friendly, helpful and polite and the food arrived in good time. I like the sliding glass door to keep the dining area and cooking area separate. No complaints at all and I would definitely recommend. Hope to make a trip back soon. The prices are very reasonable.

Fabulous Turkish restaurant . Really friendly staff and delicious kebabs . The food is very tasty and they do a great lunch time deal . The puddings are also very good too . I really like the food and the friendly service .
