Mama Rosa's Italian Family - Hampton

I had a lovely lunch at this restaurant. My mother first introduced me to it, and back then, the male co-owner was fantastic. The waitress was very friendly, and our meals arrived hot and fresh with generous portions. I received several recommendations for different dishes to try next time, particularly the eggplant. I highly recommend it for a midday meal!

Our family has adored this restaurant for many years. When I was a young girl, we would often stop by to grab takeout to enjoy at nearby Buckroe Beach or for a picnic at the beautiful Fort Monroe. While the ownership has changed over the years, the warm family atmosphere and beloved recipes keep us coming back time and time again. We enjoy dining in or taking our meals to go. It might be a bit pricey, but who isn't these days? At least they serve generous portions!

I'm really happy I discovered this restaurant. We were seated quickly and our waitress attended to us right away. She was polite and served our drinks promptly. We began with the garlic cheese bread, which was delightful. I ordered the homemade manicotti, which came with a cowboy bean soup that was absolutely delicious. My wife had the Huh Di Saronna, which was accompanied by a salad, and my son enjoyed a meat lover's pizza. Everything was delicious! Don't forget to save room for dessert; they have the best zeppoles I've ever tasted.

From outside as they pass, there is no possibility to eat this a good place and yet. it is excellent! service, atmosphere, cleanliness, people, eating, even speed! everything is dead for us. the midday lasagna was delicious as the garnelen linguini, also the grilled chicken salad was good and a huge part. we all enjoyed the meal. then the dessert appeared and we all have smiling on our faces. the price was what they would expect for a small Italian restaurant, very reasonable. they will not regret the journey or the time.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was very efficient and polite. I ordered a large Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Large portions and absolutely delicious! Great vibe inside, organized and clean. Nice family friendly Italian restaurant. Worth the trip. You won’t be disappointed.
