Ravenwood By Reservation - Hancock

My husband and I had an unforgettable experience Saturday night. We had chosen a fantastic meal, big wine (I) and beer (him) with guidance from our hostess. When I couldn't decide between two entrees, Regina gave me a part of them. And the evening ended with music, guitar and song from our cook. Sublime!

This is one of the best culinary experiences I've ever had. This experience was nothing but incredible. It is a small, charming and cozy furnished room with maybe three tables that you can only get after reservation. Try to get one. The service is intimate and friendly and attentive, without being overwhelming, and these people know CLEARLY kitchen. A selection of wine and beer, and the carefully prepared food (I ordered the trout almond and my husband got the rabbit sausage) is actually transcendent. Everyone should eat here if they can. That was WONDERFUL. Thank you.

So beautiful we went twice! We found this little jewel a few nights ago, called before, and enjoyed the Prix Fixe menu. I didn't expect much, but I was thrilled. The Resto was super cozy and we immediately felt welcome. I was very pleased with the chic beverage selection (wine, beer, apple wine, warm drinks) and menu. We shared the famous charcuterie plates, and my partner enjoyed the meat of duck, and I had salmon. The cheese cake and the carrot cake with cream-colored cheese frozen were also well made home. The best part could have been that our child felt so welcomed in a beautiful place. It was not too expensive, the bathroom was clean and very accessible, and he had a ball. Regina played live music and made him dance for a bit. Anyway, it was so nice that we were again for lunch today the chicken salad (on baguette or salad), lentil soup and quiche were amazing. We'll be back.

If you're looking for a bit of Europe in Berkeley Springs, that's a must! Regina owns and operates this beautiful restaurant and serves imported wines, beer and apple wines. Menu changes every weekend and there is always a vegetarian option. I would recommend reservations only in case. It also makes wine pairs and offers entertainment after dinner. It is a beautiful experience.

Great curated menu, delicious drinks, and a wholly family operated restaurant! While we were there three different generations were serving and the owner came out and played on the guitar for us and we spoke with her about some of the decor and her life in general. Great intimate experience!!
