Al Dar - Hannover

Great kitchen. I can't decide what to eat every time. Yesterday, I decided to go through Syria. It was great!! The appetizers a pleasure and the main course to the point. Rounded by the delicious dessert. Thanks also to the courtesy and friendly staff.

Looking for a not everyday restaurant, I quickly hit the Al-Dar. Quickly tilted into the Navi and drove. From the outside to the side of the road a little inconspicuous. A hint at the entrance over the side, I was quickly taught a better one. The little walk made me realize that the restaurant was a little bigger than I thought. In the entrance area I was welcomed very friendly, I took off the jacket and led me to a very nice covered table, about in the middle of the restaurant. I looked inconspicuous and amazed at the harmonious institution that made me feel comfortable. On one of the adjacent tables one of the waiters took the unnecessary appetizer cutlery with white fabric gloves from the table. Wine glasses that were not required were also removed from the table in a noisy way. They brought me the menu that was really nice and, in my opinion, lovingly designed. Both the appetizers and main and desserts are diverse and something is there for every taste. Since this was an absolute new country for me, I chose an appetizer and main food. I wasn't disappointed. The appetizer was very lush. Fresh and crisp, extra crispy and soft inside. From taste the food was like a pure taste explosion. Everything was harmonious, finely seasoned. The lamb was very delicate and grilled to the point. I've often eaten lamb, but no one was as delicious as it served there. Despite the fact that I was really tired and fought through the last bites, I ordered a dessert. I enjoyed every bite. I had the rose ice to break my tongue. In no way did I regret to choose this restaurant. The waiters were absolutely friendly, not an unpleasant crowd. I felt there and felt as a special guest. Of course I am aware that every guest there is treated like a king, but nevertheless I felt flattered, but in a positive way. Everything in a successful restaurant visit. I was there at 5.45 on a Sunday night. However, I recommend a reservation because the restaurant was filled quickly and shortly afterwards there was no free space. Thanks for the great hospitality. If I'm back in Hanover, I'll definitely return there.

I had chosen the restaurant on the recommendation of friends and colleagues for a birthday party. The ambience is really great. V.a. Things sit for each guest group, so there was a very pleasant volume in the premises where you could talk well with each other. The operators and their staff are very warm and friendly and attach great importance to a well-maintained decoration. The food is very delicious. Even though the Syrian cuisine is only known to me by a friend. But if you want to taste new culinary specialties, you are here. For dinner we had a Lebanese red wine (Ksara) with a very large bouquet. Of course, you need to grab a little deeper in your bag for so much quality and service. But the restaurant is worth every cent. No matter whether family party, company party or an evening to two. The Al Dar is a very good choice.

Definitely flashed off this culinary journey in this great ambience! Like on holiday! We had the menu “Syrian Journey” as we wanted to get to know the typical cuisine and had a taste experience in 3 courses with this beautiful recommendation! Respect and so on!!!

Always wonderful! Service is 1A, staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, ambience very cozy and the food in quality and taste excellent! Definitely my favorite restaurant and I like to come back anytime!
