Schlosskuche Herrenhausen - Hannover

I had lunch here on a cold November day with my mother, we just walked into the place after having visited the palace. It was late-ish for lunch but service came with a smile. The venison was absolutely delicious as was the hot chocolate. Nice seasonal ingredients menu. The restaurant itself is pleasantly and elegantly decorated. I would love to go again!

The place was beautiful, lovely ambiance, friendly waiters, good wine, the food not so good, but nonetheless beautiful place.

We spent a very pleasant lunchtime at the very modern and elegant restaurant Schlossküche Herrenhausen right after having had a walk in the Schlossgarten. The staff is very friendly and the dishes served were very tasty.

Had the lunch offer. Starter: Fish soup with shellfish (rather weak), Main course was soft chared pork (Too soft not especially tasty). Desert: Ice-cream and lignon berries (quite ok but the berry jam was sour and nothing else). Order take away cake (blueberry cheese cake and "schloss" chocolate cake: was very good). They served "complimentary" macarons at two variaties (orange and chocolate: orange not tasty, chocolate ok)
