Cousins - Hanoi

Nice atmosphere, mediocre food. I had high expectations after reading some reviews but… despite the comforting evening we had as the only guests on a Monday, the food was not great. The duck confit was dry, the oxtail ragú was okay but the gnocchi too wet(? and soggy, the fish seemed not cooked right bc it smelled fishy…

Really delicious food in western style here. The ambience is fantastic, with indoor and outdoor seats. You have moved places of what it says on Google Maps. The duck breast salad was perfect. Well balanced salty and sweet, fresh green.

Excellent experience. Served on Thursday night, served immediately and not long waited for food. We had the goat cheese salad with seasoned chicken (taste like a Cajun chicken of the Angus steak, the apple cake special, brownie with nuts and 2 glasses of red house wine. Steak is expensive, but delicious. (Sorry, the picture is a little dark!) Come with Ratatouille and Pomme frits who were very nice. The wine went very nice with the food. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was excellent. The Brownie comes with a sorbet that is not great, but the Brownie itself is fantastic. Will definitely be back for the next date night. Just the highlight of our last trip to Hanoi. The food, service, decor and professionalism were also amazing. Recommend to the Onglet how it is cooked by a wooden plank for Ha Giang, which only accepts and oozes this taste.

A great pleasure to find a place like this in Hanoi! Amazing welcoming, staff really nice and gentle that speaks English. The garden is fabulous and I loved the floor with the fireplace in the middle! We had an amazing meal with a reasonable price! Definitely to try!
