Bidra med feedbackThe bar is spacious with several tables available. While the mixed drinks tend to be a bit pricey, the selection of beers is impressive. It gets really busy on Tuesdays during the Dart League and Bowling League nights, but the bartenders manage the crowd seamlessly and without any problems.
Another local dive connected to a bowling alley. The decor needs a major face lift, and you will be competing heavily with the roudy locals for a drink on a kareoke night. The staff, including the kareoke hosts are really friendly. Be prepared to stand in the wind if you're a smoker because this is a non smoking bar.
We 've eaten burgers and pizzas here, and it certainly has no atmosphere or 'ambience ', unless you count bowling alley chic. It 's the usual fare, at the usual prices, though they do offer beer none of it is either especially bad, or especially good, it 's just sturdy bowling alley food. Keep your expectations low, and you 'll be happy.
I have visited this restaurant at least six times, and my experiences have been quite consistent. The food is average, but it's always reliably good. The service is also very good and consistent, which I appreciate. I enjoy dining here because it's usually not too crowded or noisy, making for a pleasant atmosphere. The establishment is clean and well-maintained. This bar is part of the Hanover Bowling Centre and is locally owned, which adds to its charm. Given its location among other bars in the area, it makes for a convenient spot to unwind.
A few of my friends have raved about the food at Bairs Den, particularly the cheeseburger sub. I decided to try takeout and ordered the double cheeseburger sub with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. However, I received a double cheeseburger instead of the sub by mistake. Regardless, it was still delicious!
