Ashanti Cafe - Hanover

It was amazing! I loved the food (especially the cheese cake) and there hot chocolate delicious I would definitely go there again!

A nice place to stop in if you're on the run, or sit awhile if you have time. The coffees are k, and they have a selection of snacky foods, but not cheap! I've made the mistake twice now to choose the sausage rool! Please do not make that mistake! They are not good! I dont know what is is, but whatever the filling is it's not what I know of as sausage meat!

Reasonably priced coffee! No coconut milk though! As a vegan for health reasons it's important to have on hand the same non-dairy choices Starbucks off.. nice citing area with good quality baked goods also.

I really like the ambience to Ashanti Cafe. It really is a nice place to meet a friend, and it is often much quieter than a busy place like Tim Hortons. They have specialty coffees and teas, plus many tasty treats. It really is a great addition to Hanover's downtown core and is worth the visit. Yes, they are a little slow, and if there is a line-up, patience is a virtue, but it is worth the wait. If you are in a rush, this may not be the best place to get a refreshing beverage if their is a line-up. That really is Ashanti's only downside. Thanks for this gem of a coffee shop.

The lunch was enjoyable and the coffee was great. However, the seating by the windows was not pleasant as there were dirty window sills with old coffee stains and dead plants and insects.
