Good little shop. Cooked fresh to order. Delicious. Always good supporting local businesses. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Switched it up and got an asada burrito today, along with some chicken tacos. The tacos are still A1, delicious. For the burrito, the meat had a lot of gristle, so it wasn't easy to eat. There was also too much lettuce, barely any beans or rice, and the burrito overall wasn't well put together, I had to eat it with a fork because the seam wasn't tight and fell apart as soon as I picked it up. I don't think I'll try another burrito.

TL;DR: Did not love the tacos unfortunately, but would kill for the oreo tres leches. ARRIVAL: Came here on my lunch hour and parked right out front. I don't see the parking lot getting too full ever. AMBIANCE: This is a very small spot and nobody was inside when i arrived. It doesn't really look like a spot many people do dine-in. MENU: Simple menu which I prefer. A few popular choices of meat for a few different items. GREAT selection of dessert options in the window! DRINKS: They had two agua frescas available but I decided to be healthy and get dessert instead. FOOD: I won't be going back for the tacos which is a HUGE disappointment given that they're a small business in close proximity to work. The carne asada and al pastor tacos were both dry. The al pastor were a little bit better with ok flavor, but the carne asada was super dry. They came with onion and cilantro on the side. The oreo tres leches was delicious. I aimed to save half of it for dinner later but it didn't work....oops. I have been telling others about it but not recommending the tacos. I may go back and try another item with another type of meat, if that's good, maybe i'll give the tacos another try in case I caught them on a bad day. CLEANLINESS: The place was pretty spotless and they store the cake slices individually in their containers so seems legit. With display windows i always look out for flies and there were none so that's another plus! Everything was packaged to go for me really neatly and well, so another point there as well. SERVICE: the cashier definitely wasn't friendly...she was extremely neutral. The food took around 10 mins from ordering when i was the only one in the store. PRICE: The price is right! OVERALL: Definitely try the desserts; I'll be going back to try some more, but taco meats were dry. The oreo tres leches is good enough for me to go back and give the food another shot!
