Waffle House - HARDEEVILLE

Took 10 minutes to take the order. Charged much more than expected. $58 for 4 people (no drinks) is not WH prices. I would have left. They took advantage of the young adults who went in to place the order

Driving up i95 and needed a familiar place for dinner. The yellow lights of Waffle House called to us so we stopped. Service was outstanding. We were pleasantly greeted as we walked in and our waitress continued to shine from there. She genuinely made the meal that much more enjoyable. Food was exactly as expected and delicious. Would stop here again, no doubt.

I was optimistic when I stopped in and hoped for the best. The pleasant greeting, the welcome to WH! like all the others, but no go. After asking if the air conditioning could be turned down, I was reamed out by the waitress because 'she don 't got no control over that and besides, it 's broke '. And the employees 'don 't got no control ' over the cleanliness of the store either. Should have left after seeing the cooking area... it had that fun, turned over dumpster look... just filthy. After the order went in, the first part , a waffle, came out doughy, not cooked, and raw in the middle. I turned that back in, and of course, no 'sorry about that '... Then the rest of the order came out, over cooked, rubbery scrambled eggs, and you had to eat them fast as the ice cold air was hammering down on me and my food, and then the next waffle came out NOT DONE and doughy in the middle, again! Had a couple bites and left it for the trash, which was most likely going to be thrown on the floor behind the cook with the boxes and food scraps. Told the cook about the second waffle and of course, no sorry, no nothing, no discount on the tab... he did ask if i would like an ice water for my trouble, which was laughable. Rotten waitress, bad food, dirty, pass by this location, whatever you do. Besides, it may be shuttered and condemned by the local health department.

Me and my family come all the way from Utah and we always go to this Waffle House! The food is always amazing and the staff is so positive and helpful. Star is probably the best waitress we’ve ever had. She is so kind and she has been there every time we come! She deserves a raise.
