Lovely cafe with a delicious coffee and kind/friendly service. Had my first birthday coffee of the day here and was super tasty. This place is very well decorated and has a real pots of flowers on the tables, which I really like. Prices are very reasonable. See you soon!
I needed a spot to set down, do some admin work and make a few phone calls at 'Alexandra Palace ' station and as I left the station was dismayed not to find one place even closely suitable. There was this place in the station that looked like a flower stall but on closer investigation it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for The Yard. The space is not large, probably can seat 12 15 people only and the decor is contemporary, baskets, wooden chests, twig type stuff, home decor in vogue shall we say. I had a coffee and a blueberry muffin and surprisingly. they were not as expensive as I thought they were going to be £5.70) The muffin was moist and fresh, could taste the blueberries and large enough not to be disappointed. The coffee was yum, not bitter, and served in appropriate crock ware. The Yard had music playing in the background, and the guy had. the nous to turn the music down whilst I was on the phone using his own initiative, I really appreciated that. The place was spotless, appealing and will highly recommend. Just one criticism without having 6 foot letters spelling out 'C O F F E E ' outside you need to find a way of signposting the place in the most tasteful way. How? I have no idea, but I nearly missed you, I 'm sure you can work it out.
One of the most lovely, wholesome cafes I’ve been to. Really lovely staff, and such a cosy little spot to sit and enjoy my coffee whilst waiting for my train. Thank you!! And a world class coffee !! Fred
Ally Pally’s Hidden Gem! This small family-run business is an absolute delight. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by the cosiest atmosphere and charming decor. Not only is the coffee delicious, but the true gem is the lovely lady who runs the place, Bonnie. She adds a touch of warmth that will make anyone’s day! Whether you’re just passing through the area or lucky enough to be a local resident, I highly recommend giving this hidden gem a visit. It’s a real treat!
