Mcdonald's - Harker Heights

Got our order by the time we made it to the second window and it had fresh fries and nuggets (they were very hot, and we were warned they would be). Nothing better than getting fresh fries when you order at McDonald's.

Brand new. Inside they have ordering screens that do not let you really customize your order like you would if you were talking to someone. It's really nice and updated much cleaner than I've seen other McDonalds. The drive-thru is still slow just like other locations that you visit. Overall nice. The play place for the children is much bigger and if you eat inside you're not going to necessarily be bothered by screaming kids if you didn't bring any yourself.

My chicken sandwich was supposed to have a variety of toppings, but it only arrived with a few.

Typically, McDonald's delivers almost perfection, but today, the service was notably better. They opened 10 minutes early for lunch. However, I noticed that the water wasn't very cold, which was a bit disappointing. When I inquired about a discount for my combo including drinks, I was informed that there was none available. As a result, I didn’t end up ordering any milkshakes with my combo without drinks.

I usually go through the drive-thru quickly, and they always get my order right. It's much better than any of the locations in Killeen.
