The Village Shop Post Office - Hart

A tad perplexed as having Googled the opening times on a couple of occasions, have arrived to find it closed? Earlier this week at midday, today at 5pm despite closing time saying 6? A shame as this is a brilliant place to grab breakfast or daily supplies when it is open.

The full English breakfast at this restaurant was fantastic- prepared quickly and freshly. The service was great and I highly recommend it. I will definitely be returning as soon as possible.

Incredibly slow service, the young lady on the till seemed to have no idea regarding customer service, unfriendly and regret having come here. Only three other people eating, and yet we waited for a good half hour for a jacket potato, which was OK when it finally arrived, but the salad was limp and totally unimaginative. Will not be back.

Firstly the meal was great, I went with my parents who have been a few times and enjoyed the quality food at a good price. One of the staff berated me for asking for a refill of the supposedly bottomless coffee (which was really good! I was on coffee number 2 before breakfast came out, as we were finishing up I queued for another refill and refill number 1 for my dad. The lady was so rude, shouting across the cafe that I had to pay (previously having interrogated me if we had ordered a breakfast as you only get one refill. I don't mind paying for an extra cup of coffee but surely it shouldn't be advertised as bottomless! We ended up just leaving, as I visit the area quite regularly I was looking forward to taking friends there but being treted like that had changed that. I would like to add it was one of the older ladies that behaved this way, the younger woman and the other lady were very kind and the younger woman tried to diffuse the situation.

I needed somewhere to shelter and came across this Lovely coffee shop with proper cakes. I would recommend going there.
