Elmer's Place Great Oak's - Hartford

I absolutely love this place! It has a great sense of community with plenty of regulars. The atmosphere is lively, featuring two pool tables and two beer pong tables for some fun. There's always music playing, and you can even choose your own tracks through TouchTunes to enjoy your favorite songs. When the weather is nice, they have outdoor cornhole and tables to enjoy. The staff here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also host events like karaoke and themed nights from time to time. Prices are very reasonable, especially with a college campus just around the corner. It's the perfect spot to unwind after a hectic day at work or just to hang out with friends. Some of my best memories have been made here!

Beem has been a regular at this restaurant for years. It's a large family-run establishment with reasonable prices and tasty bar food.

The owner is fantastic and puts in a tremendous amount of effort to keep the place spotless. He has hired an excellent staff who genuinely care about their customers. I always have a great time there; there’s plenty to do, so it’s never dull. If you're looking for a good outing, this is the spot! If you're older than me, I recommend visiting between 3 to 9 PM, as that’s when the college crowd comes in, and it’s entertaining to see!

Great atmosphere! You have pool tables and corn hole as well as a ton of customers my age (21) which is anxious! Great prices also on drinks. I'll definitely come back and I'd tell people here too. Tu Elmer's house. Get up!

I wasn’t able to eat at this place but it seemed like it was a local hangout or pub. When I arrived it was really busy. People were inside as well as out. The crowd seemed fairly young, so I’m going to guess it’s a spot for the CCSU folks. It looked as if everyone was having fun. It is definitely worth closer inspection from what I’ve seen. So if you get back there before I do, let me know how the food and the services are on the restaurant side.
