Bidra med feedbackNew Neighborz and SirSwaggDaddy had an RnB kickback there on Sunday 2/17 and it was THE BEST entertainment in CT
I went to a silent party at The Press. The setup was nice and so was the atmosphere. There was a good amount of space and a huge bar, so there was no problem getting served. The drinks we're good as well as the music. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because the bathroom didn't have toilet paper in the stalls and some parts of the floors were sticky.
We tried several items trying to find something we really liked, but every dish fell short of being remarkable. We tried the fried ravioli, buffalo chicken empanadas, meatballs, and the pork belly. Like I said we kept trying. Nothing was bad, just standard bar food that did not taste like it was prepared fresh (as in it was possibly bought frozen from a supplier). The bartenders were friendly. The cocktails were okay. It's a great concept, but if you are trying to attract a crowd that is willing to pay a premium for craft cocktails, you should up the food and drink game.
Horrible.. this is the press burger.. supposed to be arugula red onions roasted peppers and Dijon sauce it came with wilted lettuce and American cheese and that's all. The waitress was an absolute sweetie.. Stephanie.. she should use her wonderful people skills at another place with decent food and a better GM.
I came here a few months ago, it was good. Good drinks and food. We went there tonight. The drinks are disgusting. I watched the bartender read the menu to make the drinks, she didn't even know the drinks and the ones she made we're terrible. I would never come back here. They used old lemon juice in thier paper plane drink. Paper plane is a easy drink to make, you really have to suck to screw it up. Service sucks too. I love a good cocktail and bar, this is not it. I guarantee you could get a better drink at Chili's.
