Hornsey's Grill - Hartlepool

The live band outside created an amazing atmosphere at this restaurant last night. Despite strict social distancing rules being followed, it was a fantastic evening with a great band playing.

I have been going to this restaurant for a little over a year now! The beer pints are fantastic - they are not watered down like in many other places! You can truly savor your pint here. The staff is very friendly and always makes you feel at home. They handle any issues very well. The new large screen TV is a wonderful addition to the restaurant, much better than watching on a regular TV. The recent events they have hosted have been fantastic as well. The atmosphere at abba was perfect, everyone was having a great time and enjoying themselves. Definitely worth a visit!

Terrible food, waited nearly an hour for food, will not be going back again. Other people seemed to receive there orders before we did even after they order 20 mins after us.

My last review was on the 23rd Nov, things have changed drastically .. we ordered 2 burger and chips, the standard of the food was shocking, we were told that we were the only people to of complained that day, i doubt it very much. We loved visiting horneys in the past but this visit has totally put us off. We got a refund for 1 meal but not for the other. Im gutted to be writing this review but i wouldnt waste my money here. On their 10th anniversary of all days, ud think their standards would be high.

I stopped by one day just for a drink but ended up staying a couple of hours. The food was delicious yet uncomplicated. The bartenders were friendly and there was a good atmosphere, but it wasn't too crowded.
