Jim's Grill - Hartwell

I give this place 5 stars. It's not the cleanest or the most glamorous restaurant, but it's one of those cozy, small-town diners where everyone knows each other, the atmosphere is friendly, the food is good, and it's affordable. (Just to clarify after a few months, the food is actually GREAT!)

We traveled through town and decided to stop for lunch. The food was delicious and homemade, and the staff were extremely friendly. The prices were also very reasonable; we would have ended up spending more at a fast food restaurant.

This place may not be for everyone, but you'll likely look past that when you order the grilled sausage, egg, and cheese. The cheese is a generous portion of sharp cheddar, and the grilled ham biscuits for breakfast are a delight. While you let the cheese melt, enjoy the deliciously tender ham and some jelly on the biscuit—it's a perfect combination!

Great prices and good food! It's a nice place to go. You could have a small update outside, but friendly and helpful inside.

Today was the second time I have eaten here and both times has been excellent I highly recommend you coming and giving them a try their biscuits are out of this world
