Mt Fuji Japanese Steak House

Six stars! I absolutelyley LOVE Mt. Fuji! I'm going to all the special ocassions! It's so good. Mt. Fuji is always a long wait (not surprised). But it's because Eveyone goes there for the ingenious food! But if you wait, it's not that bad. You go to this room and order a drink at the bar. There are probably over 80 chairs in the waiting room. But it's great to relax and just wait for your food. And in the nights (VERY LATE) the dance floor opens. (The dance floor is in the waiting room). But when children go there with their parents, they are more welcome to go on the dance floor, no matter what! But the lights shine or something. Okay, if you live in Oakland, New Jersey, there are probably about 25-30 minutes. If you live in Wayne, New Jersey is probably 35 minutes drive. But if you live in Franklin Lakes, the ride is 20 minutes. I live in Oakland New Jersey and I have to drive 25-30 (as shown below)

Enjoyable and delicious. This is a great Japanese Steakhouse. My favorite part about this restaurant is that the atmosphere is unique to the restaurant, unlike similar restaurants that are part of chains that have a generic decor and quality of food. When you sit at the hibachi table, you are immediately greeted by a server who is always pleasant and easy to deal with. When you order a hibachi meal, the soup, fried rice, and noodles are included as is their hot buffet and salad bar for some appetizers. Their hot buffet always has great options and the best vegetable tempura I have ever had. Everything they make is great but the main reason I go here is for their Sukiyaki steak, something that Arirang does not offer. It is always cooked to perfection. It is smaller than some other hibachi restaurants I have been to but it is not uncomfortable. One of my overall favorite restaurants. I recommended this to anyone who enjoys Japanese cuisine.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I visit primarily for the sushi bar, and it’s truly fantastic.

The food is average, but you visit for the experience just as much as for the meal, and they certainly put on a great show. I would definitely go back.

I would give My. Fuji a 5-star rating because the food is incredible! However, be prepared to wait about 10-20 minutes during peak hours. Don't let that deter you from going. The chefs are very skilled, and both kids and adults enjoy the meals. One of the best features is the beautiful hiking opportunities; you're up high in the mountains. I also love the drive to Mt. Fuji—it feels like you're entering a jungle. You can even visit Mt. Fuji for brunch!
