Forty North Caribbean Kitchen

Forty North, which has been under new ownership since February 2017, truly is a hidden gem! A friend and I visited yesterday and enjoyed fantastic drinks alongside a delicious lunch. The salmon was cooked to perfection, and the oxtails were seasoned to mouth-watering excellence, swimming in a rich gravy. We were so captivated by our entrees that we didn't have any room left for dessert. This delightful culinary experience was complemented by the stunning views of the river and the Palisades, as well as an engaging conversation with the new owner. We will undoubtedly return, not just for another amazing meal but also for the live music and beautiful sunset views. It has quickly become my new favorite spot!

40North catered my parents 50th anniversary dinner. The place is warm inviting with beautiful views. The staff was accommodating, food was delicious they made me a special yummy vegan entree. Thank you for making my parents anniversary memorable !!!

This is an incredible discovery! The food is fantastic, and the view of the Hudson River is stunning. The waitstaff is very attentive. I highly recommend it!

I hosted my daughter's bridal shower at 40 North last weekend, and it was truly wonderful! Cheech, the owner and chef, was incredibly nice and accommodating. I chose a brunch buffet, and everything was delicious—from the freshly baked muffins to the homemade ravioli and made-to-order omelettes. The venue is beautiful, featuring wooden floors and tables, a fireplace, and stunning views of the Hudson River. The multi-tiered deck was perfect for taking pictures. I've received numerous compliments about the bridal shower, and I highly recommend 40 North, especially for private events.

I had the jerk chicken meal and it was everything I needed. Spicy to perfection, worth every penny, complemented by the views and ambiance. I would have given it a 6* if I was able to.
