Saint George - Hastings on Hudson

This bistro in Westchester is fantastic! We frequently visit for both brunch and dinner, and we couldn't be more satisfied. Situated in a charming restaurant area of Hastings on Hudson, it’s surrounded by many excellent dining choices. However, I have to say it’s one of my top picks in the area.

As for the entrées, they were all fantastic. While the mussels were on the smaller side, the curry broth was phenomenal. The French fries were among the best I've ever had! The steak was perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. And the gnocchi? Oh my goodness, it was so good with its creamy mushroom sauce. The desserts were not overly sweet and were very delicious. I do have to mention that the crème brûlée was served in a bowl instead of a ramekin, which was a bit unusual, but still tasty. I will definitely be returning soon! Excellent overall.

This restaurant took me on a nostalgic journey back to my trips to France. Every dish was expertly prepared and seasoned, especially the delightful escargot. The fries were perfectly crispy, and both the mussel curry and steak were fantastic. The service was friendly and quick. We will definitely return for more!

Great oysters and escargot with endive salad. Not a huge fan of Trout brunch dish on the menu but overall great service.

Perfect and without pretension. My omelet was bright yellow, not a hint of charring on the margins, the parmigiana filling was just the right texture, and the grilled asparagus was sublime. Frequent visitors to Hastings, we had never tried Saint George. Now it will be our go-to “restau”
