The Master Fish - Hastings

Most fish and chip shops in the area charge around nine pounds for a large portion, and not much less for a regular size. I would rate the chips a 7 out of 10; they weren't as crispy as I prefer, but still quite acceptable. I usually find that the only chips that truly satisfy me are twice-cooked, and sadly, not many chip shops offer that. The curry sauce was, in my opinion, average. I did ask for a wedge of lemon, and even though I had already paid a good amount for my meal, they brought it to me promptly. Overall, it was a decent fish and chip shop, and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Sister family came to visit me. this restaurant seems great and comfortable. let's go in! fish and chips are nice. the personal is friendly. a good choice.

Excellent gluten-free fish. it seemed that all fish were available as gluten-free. freshly cooked. really good for coeliacs, chips and even the vinegar was gluten-free

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The fish and chips were fantastic, and the curry sauce was some of the best I've ever tasted. They offer an excellent variety of fried and grilled fish, and there's a great selection of fresh starters to kick off your meal. I would absolutely recommend it. The photo I took shows the haddock I ordered, which had the perfect batter.
