Bidra med feedbackGood authentic Mexican food. Free chips and dip but no tomato salsa, a very spicy dip, and a more flavorful green one.
We live in this area of the world only 2 months a year. Seeking an exceptional Mexican toe restaurant, we stumbled upon El Rey De Oros Restaurant from Google Maps. We have found our number one choice for Mexican food in the Northern Philadelphia area. We ordered various quesadillas, not wanting a heavy meal late in the day, with some Pico de gallo guacamole. The freshest tasting and most filling ever. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. Looking forward to our future visits to try so many more items off of the menu.
Authentic Authentic Authentic! No matter where I visit, my goal is to try local taco spots. El Rey de Oros is TOP NOTCH! Great lengua tacos and dont forget the delicious Pupusa. If I am ever in town again, I will definitely be back! Tha ks for a delicious meal.
If you want no frills , with down to earth ,genuine and friendly service, then El Rey De Oro should be on your checklist for a decent Mexican /Salvadoran fare. They now have dine in service after all the restrictions, and they have delivery and take out as well. The decor is simple with emphasis on their culture through the Display of both Mexican and Salvadoran flags that adorn one of the walls. A giant menu just outside the restaurant displays all the items and straightforwardly broken down according to specific items. I had their Pupusas before and the flavors were spot on; during this last visit, I went with gusto for their Chorizo Burrito....Do Not pass this up! Crisp shredded lettuce and a very fragrant refried beans were served on the side. I requested to skip the guacamole and they gladly accommodated my request, and gladly gave me a good amount side of the rice filling on the side . The prices were fair and a good value for the amount of food you get. Horsham has a nice simple gem in their neck of the woods definitely.
While out shopping we came across this place on the map and were in the mood for Mexican. I was excited to see a California burrito on the menu, so I went with that and also ordered the ?mixed? pupusa and a chicken and cheese pupusa. They must have missed my last one since I ended up with just a mixed and a cheese. No biggie. My wife ordered the potato flautas and a side of guacamole. I?ll say while tasty, the side of guacamole is kind of chintzy in size for the price. Again, not too big of a deal. Liked all of the sauces and the jar of pickled veggies. Had a great Jamaica tea as well (love hibiscus tea! California burrito was pretty good and the pupusas really hit the spot. I?d like to try out more of the menu.
