Plaisir Gourmand - Hatley

My boyfriend and I had dinner here the last week of July and it was absolutely excellent. Definitely the best restaurant in the eastern townships. The service and setting and simple decor was great. Music played in background lovely. We had the tasting menu which we highly recommend. Cheese course and drink menu also wonderful. Do not miss it if u r in the area. Presentation of courses absolutely beautiful and taste of everything superb.

I have eaten at this restaurant at least 6 times , This is a gem far from teh beaten track ,at least if from the big city . One cannot go wrong here, the owners are fabulous , fodd is "wopnderfulllll" preparation is impeccable . Last time we got the "in the kitchen table" it was fantastic - right in the action and watching the food being prepared is unique. I will do it gain and agian

We enjoyed an exceptional meal here on a recent vacation to the Eastern Townships. Had the six course tasting menu with wine pairings over about three hours. Each course was fantastic and artfully presented. Especially enjoyed the scallop ceviche paired with Union Libre fire cider. The setting is serene and warm. Excellent service. Was expensive but worth the splurge for a truly fine dining experience.

The food and wine pairings are superb. The service is impeccable. Many ingredients come from the chef's own garden in the back. Uncontestably the most exciting retaurant in the area. Not to be missed!!!

We have travelled widely, dined in top Michelin restos, and have high expectations when it comes to food and wine. The evening we spent at Plaisir Gourmand exceeded our expectations in every way. This utterly charming restaurant should be on everyone's list if they are in the region. The food was superb and the wine selection has been well chosen. The service was gracious and personal and we can't say enough about how excellent Plaisir Gourmand is. It is 10/10!
