The Sexy Salad - Hauppauge

The restaurant offers excellent service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The owner is very involved in running the establishment. The entire restaurant is spotless and all the menu options are tasty. As long as John is the owner, I highly recommend this place.

I really enjoy the Asian chicken salad at this restaurant! They also have the cleanest bathroom in Hauppauge with plenty of toilet paper and soap.

This use to be our go to place since my business is blocks away. However, my last 2 experiences have been terrible. And it’s not because short staff as behind the counter was full of employees.Last month I ordered an chicken cesear salad wrap with warmed chicken. Was told no, I needed to take a cold premade one. After back and forth not understanding why they couldn’t heat up my chicken I said I will just pass today. As I was leaving a worker that recognized me as a regular stepped in and said I’ll do it for you. Was it really such a difficult request??Yesterday I decided to give it another shot. The Store closes at 4pm. I get there at 3pm with several orders for myself and my employees. The first item I order is a grilled cheese for my daughter, to which I’m told , sorry grill is closed and cleaned already. Aren’t you open till 4:00? You can get something cold…. Really, aren’t you a sandwich shop as well as a salad shop. Yes, but they just finished cleaning the grill. Ok then I guess we are leaving.I can see if I got there at 3:50 and they were closing up the grill but an hour before??? I check and no sign posted that kitchen closes and hour before the store. Too bad they lost my business as well as everyone that works for me because getting lunch took extra long yesterday because we needed to go somewhere else.

As an employee of The Sexy Salad, it has been a great experience working with employers who care not just about what the customer's needs are but the staff's too! The Sexy Salad has created a business of top quality and consistency along with an enjoyable and educational workplace environment. It definitely is the place where you want to go to get great food at a decent price! I enjoy seeing our customers come back over and over as well as the local businesses partake in our catering on a regular basis!

This might be the worst place Ive ever been to. Service is slow and unorganized. Food is gross. If you go, make sure to ask for a side of their famous dirty carrot sticks There is nothing sexy about this place at all.
