Bulle Rock Gourmet Pub Grill

I had a wonderful experience overall. I highly recommend eating here.

As residents of Bulle Rock, we used to visit this restaurant 1-2 times a week until about a year ago when it came under new management. Unfortunately, it has since declined. The menu has changed, prices have increased significantly, and the service has much room for improvement (almost all of the staff was replaced when the new manager took over). The happy hour specials were once fantastic, but now they only offer drink specials, with food specials available just two nights a week. The menu used to boast a variety of options, from specialty pizzas to tacos, but many items have been removed, leaving us disappointed with the limited choices. They also switched to a different supplier for the burgers; while not bad, it doesn’t compare to what it used to be. I am quite saddened by these changes and, as a result, we won’t be dining at this restaurant frequently anymore, if at all.

The food was just average, and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here if I lived nearby. However, the views from both the restaurant and the outdoor balcony are lovely, and the place is clean. There are plenty of TVs in the bar and restaurant area, which adds to the atmosphere. The only reason my friend and I chose this restaurant was because we had just finished playing a round of golf and wanted to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the waitstaff were not very attentive, and they seemed unfamiliar with the menu and dessert options. My friend had to go to the bar just to get a refill on his soda, and we received three different answers regarding dessert availability. For comparison, the restaurant at Wyncote Golf Club in Oxford, PA, would easily earn a 4-star rating from us. Overall, Bulle Rock Gourmet Pub and Grill just didn’t hit the mark for us.

Very pleased with our meal. The filets were cooked perfectly. Service was outstanding.

June 7, 2023. We made a reservation and arrived on time. There was no Hostess, and we waited five minutes and were seated outside by a waitress who gave us menus. After waiting another twenty minutes with no service, we got up and handed the menus to a different waitress and left. We said that we were leaving because we had received no service. That waitress accused us of seating ourselves and, What do you expect? Later in the evening, we had a wonderful dining experience at another restaurant. We hope Bully Rock management can fix their problem.
