What an amazing bar! I attended my friend's 50th birthday celebration, which was a private event for two hours before it opened to the public as usual. The atmosphere is lovely, and there's an outdoor area for those warmer and drier days. The hospitality is incredibly friendly, typical of Yorkshire, and the bar staff are fantastic with a great selection of drinks on tap. The bar has excellent music and three screens for sports. Overall, I would give the food a 5, service a 5, and atmosphere a 5!

I wanted to provide an update. I visited this place back in 2022, enjoyed a few drinks, chatted with the locals, and absolutely loved it. I returned today, September 3rd, 2023, while on my way further north, and I'm currently sitting in the beer garden. They've put on the F1 for me, and I've had a wonderful conversation with Kirsty and met a few locals. I can't express how much I adore this place. Whenever I'm in the area, I will definitely make it a point to stop by. The prices are fantastic as well. Price per person: £1–10. Service: 5. Atmosphere: 5.

All the tourists appear to be at the top end of town, pretty quiet in here and I’m the first to have the cask ale today and it’s gone 2:00. Great place nevertheless and the beer brewed in Leyburn is on form. Price per person: £1–10 Service: 5
