Chicken Rib Crib - Hawthorne

I've ordered a number of times from this place and the food has always been very good. The fried chicken is crisp and moist and I would not hesitate to order it again.

Horrible food. Raw chicken. Poor management. Filthy store. Unprofessional delivery people who delivers food very late and very cold. Food tastes more like the cardboard box they came in than what it's supposed to taste like. There are plenty of options out there. Haledon would be a good place to look for a higher quality of food, service, and variety.

This place keeps getting worse. The restaurant is dirty, and even when you're told to pick up your order in 15-20 minutes, you end up waiting an additional 15-20 minutes or more. To make matters worse, the staff has a terrible attitude and is outright rude to customers. I would never order from here again!

I enjoyed the food and found the staff to be friendly. It’s a great option for family meals at a reasonable price. I noticed a negative review from a disgruntled individual who seemed to be upset about something unrelated, as I saw someone mention their family member had a positive experience here. I've been recommended this restaurant, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to others as well!

I have been living in Hawthorne for five years, and this restaurant has never let me down. They always deliver on time, usually within an hour. For the record, it takes about 45 minutes to pressure-cook fried chicken the way they do—not microwaved like at some other places. KFC uses precooked pieces, by the way! Their chicken is always hot, always delicious, with a great batter and crust that outshines the competition. My son, who is a junior in martial arts, loves the chicken tenders—they're all white breast meat and just as hot and crispy as the bone-in chicken. Their fried shrimp is consistently firm, fresh, and crisp, like a brand-new hundred-dollar bill. The thick-cut fries are always dark, well-done, and perfectly crispy. In summary, the food is consistently good and hot, packed well, delivered on time with a smile, and incredibly affordable. Anyone who says otherwise is just being overly critical.
