Bidra med feedbackCoconut Shrimp is really good, the Panang Curry has a good flavor but a little more spicy than expected for its 2 rating. Thai coffee was just ok, not as flavorful as other places where I normally get it. Most of the time, lemonade can have a weird chemical flavor at restaurants, but their is really good. The service here is really good! Waitstaff is attentive without being intrusive, even if your waiter is busy, another one will come right over to help if it looks like you need something. Probably my favorite thing about this restaurant! Will visit again for sure!! We walked in at 12:30pm today and nobody was in there. We waited for a few minutes and nobody came out. We rang the bell on the counter and nobody came out Finally, a man came out eating food. We asked if they were closed. He said no. Then mumbled under his breath. We decided it was best to just leave at that point. This place is clearly not trying to sell food. Not sure why they are paying rent to the shopping center. Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

What a great lunch I had today with my hiking partner and colleague. We were starving and decided to stop in at Thai Peppers. Such a cute restaurant in a really nice shopping plaza in Haymarket. Easy to find and I saw a couple other places to explore there, as well, at another time. -Walking in to Thai Peppers, there were 3 other people at tables eating. A small sitting area that was actually quite nice and cozy. We sat in a booth and decided to order Sa-Tay for appetizer. 4 small chicken pieces on skewers along side a cucumber salad. We dipped the chicken into the Thai peanut sauce, which was delicious. I can't wait to make my own version of the cucumber salad. That was slightly addicting! -later our lunch came out. Great looking dishes of Green Curry and Crying Tiger Steak. We each had two smaller plates and shared both orders. What a great idea. The Green Curry had chicken, green peas, bell peppers bamboo shoots with coconut milk and was something I couldn't get enough of. If it had dough balls in it, it'd be like eating chicken and dumplings! Really good food. The Crying Tiger was just what it said. Marinated steak with steamed broccoli and Thai dipping sauce. It came with a bamboo basket of sticky rice, which I thought was interesting and very good. The steak had a great smokey flavor to it but my favorite today, was the Green Curry. I hope to be back to try more, soon!
