Caspers Hot Dogs Foothill - Hayward

Today, I went to Caspers on Foothill Blvd about 5:00 pm. I served the worst hot in my 30 years of eating hot dogs from Caspers. Normally, the hot dogs are delicious. The server will ask me what I want on my hot dog but not today. In the short time I was paying for the dog the server had prepared it. She didn't ask me if I wanted chopped or slice onions which she had already put on slice onions. I asked her want condiments she put on the dog since it was already made. The other server replied it comes with ketchup and mustard. I requested mayonaise, cheese and peppers to be added. They informed me it was $1.00 for the cheese and .44 for the peppers. When I got home I discovered the was no ketchup, light mayonaise and extra extra mustard. This made the dog taste terrible!! My only regret is that I didn't take a picture to show everyone.

For a hot dog diner with nostalgia and best hot dogs ever, a 5 star. Every time I come back to where I grew up I have to visit. My son loves them also. We try and duplicate at homenot the same. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
