Ponderosa Steakhouse - Hazard

By far the best restaurant in Hazard. I have eaten several times in every place in town and this place is heads above the rest. The best value for your dollar. Buffet is always fresh and has a great variety. Where else you can eat meat loaf, fish, roasted chicken, dumplings and all fixations for less than $10. The staff is super friendly and treats you like family, most of them call me with name and it makes me feel like I'm home. I recommend the chicken killer.

Delicious food in a lovely setting. The steak was excellent. I really wish we had a location in my hometown!

We visited this restaurant during our trip to Hazard. Since Ponderosa isn't a very common dining option anymore, we decided to check it out to see if it lived up to our memories. After dinner, we both agreed that it was a fantastic stop on our journey, and we plan to return the next time we're in the area.

I absolutely love her salad bar! It offers almost everything you could want for a delicious salad. I always order the sirloin tips along with a baked potato from the salad bar. If I'm not completely full from all the amazing options on the hot food bar, I can indulge in dessert, which includes ice cream, pudding, and more. It’s my favorite restaurant in Hazard, KY!
