Portalupi Wine - Healdsburg

My husband and I visited this restaurant for our first weekend getaway without our baby, and we had an amazing experience! The selection of wine was outstanding, and we had a blast! The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly. We can't wait to return!

My wife and I enjoyed a delightful wine and food tasting experience, featuring four wines paired with delicious bites that perfectly complemented each selection. We tasted Sparkling Barbera with arancini, Vasa do Marina Rosso with focaccia, Pauli Ranch Barbera with Italian meatballs, and Petit Syrah with bombolini. Our server, Jan, was both knowledgeable and cheerful throughout our visit. I found the wines to have a character more akin to those of the Old World, showcasing stratification and complexity that stands out compared to the same varieties typically found in the Sierra Foothills.

The wine and service were extraordinary. Thank you, Jane, for introducing us to this amazing sparkling wine that truly makes our hearts sing!

Thanks to my sister-in-law for a wine tasting. Staff here know their product inside and outside. We all went away with a few bottles of wine. When in Rome right? This is wine country, if you are in town and need a new place to check out, this is a great place. Make sure to reserve a time. Cheers!

As a hardcore Cab and Brunello drinker, I was more than pleasantly surprised by the great taste of their Barbera D’Asti. So much do, that I’m having a case shipped back to me in Chicago. Try it.
