Paul's Steakhouse - Helen

Food was average. Tender beef tips but really lacking flavor. Salad is nothing more than lettuce, carrots and three cherries. However, service was good and the restaurant offers military discount. No bread options.

Overpriced. Food was just o.k. for the high prices. They didn't even give bread to begin with like most steakhouses. Service was good from Mike V. Hostess was friendly. Atmosphere was plain and boring other than the river view. There are better restaurants in Helen.

Went for my aniversary dinner and came out very disappointed this is a school cafeteria with Ruth Chris prices the food presentation is awefull and taste is very common nothing special about this place not recommended definitely not coming back

Horrible experience!!! Only ate here because we already had paid for parking, but would not recommend. The place is very understaffed and have very rude waitresses and bartenders. Our waitress, Luke, brought only half of our food and then disappeared for over 10 minutes. When he finally showed up again, we asked for our plate to be redone since it was already cold. When he brought us a new plate, he threw the plate like a frisbee on our table. This is the very first time I write a review because the disappointment and disrespect was over the top. I was a waitress myself and understand the struggle of being understaffed, however, I would have never treated a customer the way he did when I was so kind with my approach. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! If you see this place, run the other way!!

The place was nice a big portion was served however the lobster was under cooked and smelled like fresh fish. The waiter was very nice! I really enjoyed my family meal plus it was my birthday!
