Petiscaria - Helsinki

The crispy Seitan dish at this restaurant is unique and delightful, standing out from other seitan dishes in Helsinki. It is really delicious with a crispy texture and flavorful rice. The combination of seitan, rice, salad, carrots, and piri piri sauce is very well executed. The restaurant, located inside the Hietalahti market hall, has a charming and cozy atmosphere with only a few tables.

I made a reservation for two on 24.06.2022 and received a confirmation email. However, when we arrived at the restaurant, it was closed. It was extremely disappointing and felt like the end of our plans. Despite reaching out to the restaurant through Instagram (as there was no email listed on the website) three days ago, we have not received any response. Thank you for ruining our midsummer celebration.

Our party of three had another incredible dining experience today with delicious shared plates and fantastic wine. The friendly and professional service ensures that we will definitely be returning in the future.
