La Villa - Hempstead

If I'm honest, this is the best Mexican restaurant I found and it's my favorite place. I am Mexican and I was in the 845 in several points and no one can run the taste of home like la villa. the portions are large, I almost always have a lot to take home! the drinks are beautifully balanced, not too sweet and not excessively strong. Overall, everything tastes fresh and tasty and reminds me of home so that it is definitely worth my money. very underestimated restaurant.

My 2 friends and I were enjoying ourselves until the owner came up to ask and unlawfully searched us finding nothing of course he claimed we smoked in the bathroom I told him to check his cameras. He kicked us out and next day sends me the video. In video there were 4 blonde girls that entered the bathroom. It wasn’t me. Number of girls doesn’t match Clothes don’t match the hair color doesn’t match my 2 friends have black hair-and to add I have full sleeve tattoos and in video these girls had no tattoos at all. He refused to apologize I feel violated for being searched and wrongfully accused.

I went in there just dancing enjoy my time I was outside when the owner approached me trying to tell me I smoked in bathroom when I don’t even smoke. I showed him my purse there was nothing inside but he kicks me out for No reason. He should check camera before accusing people it’s probably because we were the only white people in there and the place was packed. What a disrespectful spot to accuse someone who is not guilty. Never again I will go there it ruined my whole night
