Limons Mexican Henagar

Since relocating from California, we've been on the hunt for a fantastic Mexican restaurant, and this spot is outstanding! I’m particularly fond of their Sangria Margarita. Regardless of how busy it gets, we always receive excellent service and delicious food. I also really appreciate the decor!

This restaurant is fantastic, and they contribute a lot to the community. We ordered the beef enchilada with cheese sauce, along with rice and beans, as well as the al pastor street tacos—everything was absolutely delicious. We always get the hot salsa too. The only dish I wouldn’t recommend is the chili relleno, as it doesn't quite fit the traditional definition. Overall, the food and service are excellent, whether you choose to dine in or take out.

The noise level was extremely high. We dined here on Taco Tuesday and were completely unaware that it was also live mic night. While I don't mind a lively atmosphere, they really should have turned down the volume on the amp and the microphone. It was unnecessarily loud, making it difficult to hear our waitress. As a result, she completely messed up one of our orders because it sounded too similar to another dish. To make matters worse, the order we received was about half the normal size. Additionally, they forgot to include the sides for another plate. When I go out with my family, I expect to be able to hear each other and communicate with our server. I'm still frustrated about the portion size and the missing sides. We brought these issues to our waitress’s attention, but she dismissed us, insisting that we ordered it that way. Did someone else in the back eat the missing food? I had previously rated this place five stars, but this experience was ridiculous. Nothing about that evening was enjoyable.

Ordered the Los compadres grill and it was amazing!! Ordered the one serving but it could def serve two. Ordered the churros and sopapillas for dessert and it was great. Had Paxton as our server and he was AWESOME! Was so attentive and friendly. Would def recommend going back!

The Food was exceptional! The drive was long, but the prices were great! I ordered the Nacho AI Pastor and it was beautiful and delicious. I love the Spanish decorations on the ceiling. It really sets such a great mood for dining. The service was kind of complicated for me however. It was good service all in all at my table. I will agree they got the job done well enough. I just felt it could have been handled a little better. They really didn't understand who ordered what, and they lacked on providing us with what we needed before our food arrived. Everything else was great and I am not complaining. If you are a fan of Mexican cuisine, then give Limons a try! I definitely recommend it!
