Bidra med feedbackThe shredded chicken burrito has good flavor, but must be eaten carefully/quickly due the sauce that escapes the tortilla
It pains me to say this because I really don't like giving 1 star reviews, and I'm usually not that hard to please. But this spot really disappointed me. It's in a very convenient for us Touro students, so I'll probably revisit at some point in the future, but not any time soon. I ordered a carne asada burrito, and I think it's fairly priced in this economy. Per other reviewers though, it seems as though the portion size has gone down. I've never been previously so I can't comment on that, but I feel like the portion is okay for the price. However, the taste is very sub-par and the presentation is quite... disappointing. I felt the meat was over-salted, and actually the texture wasn't really like most carne asada that I've had. The burrito was also hardly wrapped, and the paper that wrapped it was loose too. And the kicker? I'm pretty sure I developed some mild food poisoning. I split the burrito into dinner, and lunch the next day. The day I had it for dinner, I had an episode of mild diarrhea. The next day after lunch, I had 2 episodes of diarrhea. This really threw me off. I've never had this happen to me, even when eating food in other countries overseas. Buyer beware. Hopefully it was only an isolated incident, and only me.
We really love the food here. Great portions and always super fresh. I did the drive-thru which was very slow...I think I waited a good 15 minutes before I got to the window. I ordered the carnitas plate and the amount of food was huge! I was actually able to make a full size burrito with the portion left after eating a bit. The carne asada burrito was also huge and my brother ate it all. The chicken taquitos were a tad soggy from the guacamole, so there was no crunch to them.
Fresh food but not the best Roberto's I've had. The fries had no salt on them and the salsa cup I received was nearly empty. I asked for several cups of salsa and the one cup I received was not even half full. The salsa was super runny and watery, so there was very little flavor to it. I do appreciate the drive through for convenience.
This should have better reviews. This is the biggest breakfast burrito I have ever had. The salsa station is stocked and they even have bags pre filled ready to go. All these workers deserve a raise
