Sunset Pizzeria - Henderson

2 stars because of the pizza. It is not NYC pizza. The food is good but the pizza could be better. We ordered delivery for the 2nd week in a row and the pizza is doughy and flops at the end when folded. The under carriage is not done enough. Yesterday, we asked for the pizza to be crispy on the bottom (NYC style) and this time it was worse then the last time. It was too thin, doughy and greasy on the underside. When you lifted up the pizza you could see the grease on the bottom of pizza. Very disappointing that whoever was making the pizza on a Sunday did not know how to or didn't care. When you order pizza and then have to finish cooking it in the oven yourself things are not good. However, the delivery guy was great and the other food we order was good.

The little bar next door is great and the door at sunset pizza is legit!!!

I have been a loyal customer for a long time, but my recent experiences have been disappointing. I ordered the Antipasto salad with four times the meat because the regular portion is so small. Unfortunately, I didn't receive what I ordered, and this has happened twice now, which makes me think it's a pattern. When I called to express my concerns about the discrepancy between my order and what I received, I was met with an attitude that fell short of what I expected as a long-time customer who usually tips generously—around 50% of the bill. As a result, I have decided to stop patronizing this restaurant. I will take my business to a place where my loyalty is appreciated and valued.

I recently had the pleasure of trying this place during a company lunch break, and I’m thrilled I did. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. I ordered the wings, medium, extra crispy, and they were perfect—cooked exactly how I like them! My coworkers ordered pizza, which was also fantastic. The portions were generous, and everything, even the fries, arrived piping hot. I will definitely be returning with my family. Highly recommend!
