Bidra med feedbackThis was another one of those small Swan River wineries whereby we have driven past on numerous occasions. This was a great little winery with a french background influencing these wines. We took this opportunity to take advantage of the discount on a carton of sparkling wine (champagne) and split it amongst the group. This was quite unique winery with lots of knick-knacks (funny signs) and bottle openers etc for sale. They have an impressive Blanc blend which is awesome as well. Don't drive past make sure you drop in.
I had the worst experience ever at this restaurant. I tried to make an online reservation through their website, but for some reason, Monday (Labor Day) was not available. I then made a booking via Facebook messenger for 10 people for my son's birthday. However, when we arrived, the waitress rudely informed us that there was no reservation under my name for 10 people. Despite showing her the chat confirmation, she insisted that the restaurant was fully booked, even though it appeared empty to us. When we asked if she could check with someone or the owner, she flatly refused. The alfresco and inside tables were all empty. I will never return to this place and I will not recommend it to anyone. Thank goodness Black Swan Winery is located next door, their lovely service, beautiful seating area, and fabulous food saved the day. It is no surprise that this place is called Little River, as it will always be 'little' in comparison.
Located in the Swan Valley in Western Australia, Little River is a boutique winery with a charming rustic restaurant situated on the edge of their vineyard. Guests can enjoy dining literally next to the vines while indulging in delicious French cuisine, such as the mouth-watering Duck Confit and other delectable dishes. After ordering, visitors can stroll to the wine tasting section next to the restaurant and select the perfect wine to accompany their meal. Little River is the perfect spot for a leisurely Sunday afternoon lunch with the family, complete with live music entertainment. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable experience.
Little River is a restaurant that is too expensive, has poor customer service and uncomfortable plastic chairs. I recently visited with my family for lunch and was disappointed by the slow service and high prices. I ended up having to get my own bottle of water from the reception area. The Tuna Salad I ordered cost a ridiculous $28, when I could have easily made it for under $10 from a grocery store. The cheap plastic chairs were also uncomfortable. Overall, I was not impressed with the quality of the food and the dining experience. The restaurant should consider investing in better decor given the prices they charge. Additionally, it did not give me the feeling of being in a charming French cafe.
Whilst the menu is not extensive what it lacks in choice is made up by the quality of food and service. We celebrated a wedding anniversary here and an other larger occasion for a family was being held on the verandah area outside. Vineyards wine are ok however their sparkling wine was a treat. Will be back again.
