Country Spirit Restaurant - Henniker

I finally had the opportunity to try Country Spirit Restaurant, and we all had a wonderful time. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and although it wasn’t particularly busy during our visit, it had a pleasant atmosphere. They offered a good variety of dishes, including appetizers. The chicken nachos were a highlight, and with six of us at the table, we really enjoyed them. Overall, the food was well-prepared. I did have an issue with my burger; I ordered it medium, but it came out overcooked and tough. Everything else was quite good. Additionally, Country Spirit Restaurant features a gift shop and some delectable-looking apple desserts, though I didn’t purchase any on this visit.

This is a delightful rustic spot to visit. The food was delicious! I definitely plan to return to try their prime rib if it's available next time.

With water on three sides, the views were simply breathtaking.

We used to visit this restaurant some time ago, but we were disappointed with the changes in the food and found the prices too high for the quality we received, so we stopped going. However, a couple of months ago, we decided to give it another chance. We were pleased to find that the food has significantly improved, and the prices are now much more reasonable. In the past two months, we've returned about four times and plan to go back again very soon.

I had a wonderful culinary experience, and even during the pandemic, the quality of both the food and service remained at the level I expect from a restaurant. The seafood is exceptional, and honestly, everything I've ordered has never let me down. I’m very happy to say that there are still places that take care of their patrons while serving great food.
