Bidra med feedbackTrue excellence in country style BBQ, great sauces, just the right little bit of heat in the spicy, delicious smoky flavor on the brisket, and the hot link was awesome, not very spicy, but smokey spiced to perfection
I’m not a BBQ connoisseur, but I’ve eaten here twice and enjoyed the meal both times. The fried okra and potato wedge fries (or whatever they are called) were both yummy. They only have two BBQ sauce options that I could see—mild and spicy. This is an order at the counter and take your seat kind of place. Plenty of seating in a few different rooms, including a bar area. Several TVs throughout the restaurant playing (mostly) sports. There are a men’s and women’s restroom near the counter and another generic restroom in the larger dining room (that one has a cool farmhouse theme). I knocked them down a star because we ate there on a Sunday for lunch and we waited at least 30 minutes for our food (could have been over 40’minutes—didn’t track the time exactly). It appeared that other customers were also getting their food quite slowly, like maybe delivering one table’s food every 7-10 minutes. Not sure if they were just inundated that day or short-staffed or if this is the norm, but the wait time was extensive.
Rustlers BBQ in my opinion is one of the best BBQ restaurants in Oklahoma. The bbq is consistently good and the service is great. What more could you ask for? You ask me where to get great OK BBQ, is always take a drive to Henryetta and go find Rustlers.
Was there last year xmas time visiting our daughters was craving good bbq, wow what a disappointing meal for the prices didn't have half the stuff on menu girl at counter said try the brisket so I did I could have taken my belt off and added bbq sauce it would have been more tender and less dry. Only good part was the jack and coke.... Never again!!!!!!!
Good place, trucker approved, enough space for a semi to turn around.
