We were in this hotel for the fifth time. Unfortunately we were before 4 pm (this is the official check-in time) and thus 40 minutes too early, which is why we sat in the lobby for 40 minutes and waited to finally get our room. When that finally worked, our code cards were not activated. Trouble because we had to get back to the reception. But it was positive that half an hour later a small fruit cellar was free in the room as a small compensation. Also positive is the Welness area and breakfast in this hotel. Breakfast wasn't better than this hotel. Less beautiful was unfortunately the room condition and the location of the room. The curtains are dirty and the walls are not always in perfect condition. There is no climate situation in this hotel, with the description is faulty!!! The competence of the check-in/out staff at the reception is highly in need of improvement. underground car park completely overpriced with 18€ per night in high season. But what do you want to do is the parking ban around the hotel, which of course uses the hotel. Conclusion: Despite small criticism, we are still coming back

Takeover from another portal 09.2013 The Grandhotel is a five-star house, and it is also fair with its appearance and service (rated without restaurant). The hotel is located on the beach, swimming pool, spa and all schickimicki. All right. An underground car park for 18.-EUR the night is already limited. And in a 5* house I do not expect traces of suitcases on the walls or broken porcelain on the cup. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and always fully equipped. There were no gaps and as we had great weather, we could enjoy breakfast on the terrace. In the evening we ate in the hotel restaurant Lilienthal. The food was good and amazing cheap, 38th-EUR for a four-course menu is a very fair offer. The service made us wish. Empty glasses were not always filled, demand for further drinks remained. One evening the neighboring tables were covered and prepared for breakfast while we were still in dessert. I felt very rude. The a la Carte Restaurant Seaside in the house was closed during the time so we could not visit it. The bar with the possibility to use the terrace (with a heating oven) is well equipped. The drinks are well mixed and amazingly cost-effective. I would have expected so much more expensive. The hotel meets its category, with small restrictions. Restaurant Lilienthal has plenty of air in service
